“Give yourself a chance to discover who you really are.” – Tina Panossian
The SOS (Speak Out Society) Q&A will be posted regularly to stimulate fun, healthy, and thought-provoking discussions within the Speak Out Society community and its followers.
It would also be a good way to discover other bloggers with similar interests as you get to know them through their answers.
Who knows? Through these questions, you might also learn something new about yourself. 🙂
RULES:
1. Respond to the question in the comment section. Make sure to leave a link to your blog.
2. Leave comments on others’ responses. (Only if you want to. It might be fun, though.)
3. Always be kind. No judging. (That’s just irksome.)
4. You may also write your own post related to the question, and create a pingback or include a link to this post for us to read it.
5. Speak out!
Here’s the question:

Great answer, James. Even your profile picture looks empowering. Is that a lion with fire hair?

To me this is the essence of a Lion, ignited with the fire of purpose. It is the fire that burns beneath the surface of all living creatures.
We all have different purposes and must become aware of our own. If it interests you I feel there are some correlations with my first post. https://activateyourall.wordpress.com/2016/09/29/are-you-successful/

Honestly, the more I think about it, I feel like my life serves no purpose. Maybe it’s because I don’t have a family to get back. So in a way, having a family, having children and looking forward to their growth, providing for and protecting your wife. etc. is what gives purpose to my life. Absence of the above, makes me feel purposeless. In fact I have a death wish. I would dive at the chance of having to sacrifice my life for someone else. Not because I care for people, but because, if they can do something better with the chance of a new life, I would gladly give it up. I don’t want to be a burden to this world.

Writing and sharing what I truly feel inside in order to inspire, persuade, encourage or challenge others fuel my purpose in life. Simply put, my desire to find meaning unto all the complexities that are happening in my life and somewhat be able to “verbalize” it is what drives me forward.
For me, there’s a huge difference between living your life and just merely surviving it. That’s what I try (so hard) to express and write about on my blog:
https://viewpointsofandrei.com
My blog is an assortment of all things that define me as a human being as I journey thru my quest for the elusive meaning of life – in that case, my own life.

Thank you! Yes, writing isn’t just scribbling or typing letters into sentences, it could transform the writer into someone else, into a manifestation of his inner being.
Words gain power when they are expressed. I’m always a believer in spoken or written words.

Purpose? What makes me feel like I have a purpose in life?
Hmm..
Me being alive maybe? I mean if am alive am here to do something. Anything. But to leave a benchmark in whatever I do. Just the inner voice!

Purpose to me is a sub-branch of motivation, and it the reason behind our staying positively alive, our thoughts and actions. it’s among what drives us towards achieving our goals and aspiration as we travel along the journey of life.
I’m a blogger, I write to inspire and motivate readers to think so as to discover or create & experience a life worth living. I post daily on my blog and it automatically published on my social networking sites for people around the world to read; That alone gives me a sense of purpose because am touching peoples lives positively. 🙂

Hey Speak Out! I think this is a fantastic blog you have. I’ve been trying to find a worthy purpose for myself over the last couple of years, and the best thing is that I have found my purpose evolving. A constant purpose never lets you explore life and opportunities as much as you can, in my opinion.
Of course, your general purpose can remain the same, but your targets and wishlists should definitely keep evolving.
Currently (and I think this is my main purpose in life), my purpose is to spread the word on the environment and ecology in today’s world. More people should know what is happening, so that they can stay connected with nature. You already know that, though 😛
P.S- Thank you for visiting earlier, and keep visiting!
P.P.S- my blog is http://www.eco-intelligent.com for those of you who might be interested.

Thanks for coming on over here, Saurab. I enjoy reading your insights, and I hope to see more of you on the following Q&A posts here.
Again, I think your blog is awesome. Not a lot of people give consideration or a second thought to the environment. We need more people like you.

I have to know that what I am doing is needed by someone, be it one person or many. This is my purpose in life – to be needed.

Only just recently stumbled upon your site, but I’m glad I did, you have a very creative and purposeful theme here. I’d say what I’m doing on this website in terms of my blog (www.jakejournal.wordpress.com) gives me a great sense of purpose, for I’m striving to encourage people to constantly take on new perspectives about their lives and work to build better ones for themselves. I’m trying my best to spread positivity and encouragement, and I feel it’s this that helps fulfill my sense of purpose. Great post
